On Tuesday night, Innovation Mission attendees had a private dinner with Matter Managing Director Corey Ford.
Matter has quickly emerged as a leading light in media innovation, and Ford is the architect behind it all.
Ford talked about Matter’s accelerator which incubates dozens of media startups each year, and their design thinking workshops empower media companies to build innovative DNA.
Ford discussed how to utilize design thinking to spark innovation within organizations.
He provided attendees a list of ways Matter seeks to build a culture of experimentation. They are:
1. Bet on people, not ideas
2. Build culture through experimental learning
3. Create a safe space to regularly fail fast
