• DESIGN THINKING BOOT CAMP (featuring McClatchy’s Head of Innovation):

One of the leading experts on design thinking will be conducting a ½ day boot camp.

Jeremy Gockel (right) heads up innovation for the McClatchy Company. In this role, he regularly teaches media executives how to develop, market and test new media products using early stage entrepreneurship methodology. In this ‘role up the sleeves’ workshop, attendees will learn how to incorporate design thinking into their culture to spark innovation.

• GOOGLE:

AMP, consumer data strategies, artificial intelligence and machine learning for publishers, “autonomous driving”, smart home, and much more – this full-day visit to Google’s Mountain View headquarters has it all! From short-term partnership opportunities to longer-term, groundbreaking disruptions,

IDEO is a true design thinking pioneer. They believe that human-centered design can be applied to innovation in any area and used to solve any problem. Attendees will learn how IDEO has creates breakthrough innovations at a global scale, and has continued to do so for nearly four decades.
