Now LMA is investing to grow and realign its senior leadership team to accelerate our efforts toward that mission.
As a key role in those efforts, LMA seeks a resourceful, creative, thoughtful digital leader to be our Chief Innovation Officer.
Our Chief Innovation Officer will manage select projects in Accelerate Local, LMA’s business model accelerator, and contribute strategically to others; lead or contribute to program planning for key LMA conferences and experiential learning programs such as Chief Digital Clubs and Innovation Missions; and contribute to overall LMA operations, communications, fundraising, member service and industry support.
Candidates should have significant experience managing and working in digital operations in local media, or comparable roles. Though this is an executive-level position, be prepared to “get your hands dirty.” We are a small team with a flat organization structure, so every LMA job includes both strategic leadership and hands-on work across every aspect of the organization.
Depending on qualifications and experience, total compensation for this position can be up to $120,000/year, plus benefits including insurance and 401(k). LMA is a virtual organization; you can work in this role from anywhere with good access to broadband internet and commercial airline service.
